Gel nails first appeared in the U.S. in the early 1980s,
but were met with limited success. At the time,
the manufacturers of gel lights and the gel itself had not joined forces,
not yet recognizing the need to precisely match the intensity of the light to the photoinitiators in the gel.
Nail techs and clients soon found out that using the wrong light or applying too much gel caused a burning sensation on the client’s fingertips.
Additionally, education on gel application was limited, leaving nail techs in the dark about the product, and home-use systems were introduced around the same time, damaging the reputation of salon-use systems by association.

Terms &Conditions of Sale
1. The company is bound only by these conditions. Any other conditions, warranties and representations
including any implied by law are excluded and negated.
2. Only the company may vary these conditions and only by agreement in writing with the customer.
3. Prices are those contained in the Company’s published price list, and excluding GST, and may be altered
without notice.

5. Delivery
Free delivery
• Free delivery only applies for order value of $500 or more.
• Free delivery cannot apply to Regional and Country Orders.
• Free delivery only applies to merchant’s place
• Delivery time frames to stores are usually 1-3 business days.
Delivery charges
Any order requires same day or next day delivery (but less than $ 500 or not covered in Sydney region),
KDK will hire third party or courier to deliver your goods. Delivery cost will be paid by buyer.
Alternatively, Pick up in our warehouses.
Where trucks are held on a site for more than 1 hour awaiting delivery, $50 per hour incurred as a result
of delays on site.
6. Delivery dates are estimates only and the Company is not liable for any loss or damage for failure to
deliver by the estimated delivery date.
7. No liability is accepted for damage or shortage of product unless written notification is received within 2
working days after delivery. Insurance of goods in transit is the reasonability of the buyer.
8. All goods of faulty manufacture (excluding imperfections permitted within AS1976 Vitreous China Used
In Sanitary Appliances) will be credited or replaced if the Company is advised within a reasonable time
after delivery, and the faulty product is made available for inspection and return. (Service form must be
filled by customer if the products are decided as faulty products).To the extended permitted by the Trade
Practices Act and other relevant legislation, the Company’s liability is limited to:
1. The cost of replacing the goods;
2. The cost of obtaining equivalent goods; or
3. The cost of having the goods repaired.
4. There is no cover for any costs by Merchants or customer’s actions without company’s
authority
9. The Company is not responsible for any lack of operation or performance of goods (or any loss or
damage) where goods are used or adapted for apurpose for which they are not designed.
10. The Company is not responsible for any lack of operation or performance of goods (or any loss or
damage) where goods are combined or integrated with other goods not supplied by the Company.
11. Goods returned for credit must be authorized by the Sales Representative or Agent, and must be in resaleable condition, including packaging. The customer will pay freight for returns.
12. A restocking charge of 15% applies to all authorised goods returned for credit unless agreed to
13. Property in goods delivered to the Customer remains with the Company until full payment is received,
and is case of payment by cheque, thecheque is honoured upon presentation.
14. Payment of Customers accounts is strictly 30 days from the end of month in which the goods were
delivered. A finance charge of 1% per month may be applied to overdue monies.
15. If there is default in payment of the goods the Company may enter upon the premises of the Customer
and recover the goods that have not been paid for.
16. Orders for goods by the Customer are irrevocable, except where the Company agrees to the contrary.
17. The company reserves the right to vary. Alter or amend designs, drawings and the performance of its
products without notice.
18. Drawings specifications, explanatory literature and other materials provided for descriptive purposes are
not binding on the Company, nor do they constitute representations by the Company.
19. Agents or distributors of the Company’s products have no right or authority, express or implied, to bind
the Company.
20. The Company is not responsible for any failure to abide by these conditions which apply to it where
failure is due to strikes, accidents, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

23. “Date of delivery” means the date the goods leaves the Company’s warehouse or the delivery to the rail,
wharf, Carriers Depot, or Merchants store under Conditions 4 as the case may be.
24. “Goods” means products ordered by the Customer from the Company.
25. “Published price list” means the Companies list of prices, issued from time to time, in respect of its good.

Important note about Warranty Claims
KDK will provide supportive after sales and service or replacement of any product which, as a
man made item, may develop a production issue with the material component. However, the
function and installation of the product is the responsibility of a licensed plumber. It is the
responsibility of the licensed installer to inspect for damage prior to installation. No claims for
damage/error/unsuitability will be considered after installation. Fabricators and Joinery must
inspect product before installation for damage from handling or dimensional variation in
manufacture. Undermount basins must be removable. If you have a functional problem with your
product(s), which is not related to the material and product you should contact the licensed
installer in the first instance. If your installer fails to return and you still require on-site attendance
for minor adjustments or to check the product, a service fee will apply. Proof of purchase is
required for all Warranty claims.
